• What we collect and why — There are no accounts and we do not ask for your name. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used, which collects anonymized usage data such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (Google anonymizes the IP). The precise location used to show nearby places stays in your browser and is never sent to or stored on our server.
• Cookies — Google Analytics sets cookies (for example, _ga) to measure site traffic. We show no advertising. You can opt out by blocking cookies or installing Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Third parties — Anonymized analytics data is processed by Google under its Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or share it with any other third party.
• Retention and deletion — We keep no personal information on our own servers. Analytics data is retained by Google per its policies. Settings stored on your device (interests and the like) are deleted when you clear your browser storage.
• Your rights and contact — For access, deletion, or other requests, reach us at the contact below.

Hours, closing days, and prices reflect the information available when it was collected and may change on the ground. We especially recommend checking the official website or calling before you visit. If you spot anything wrong, please let us know.

Open data is used with attribution in line with its terms of use. The map is based on OpenStreetMap via OpenFreeMap, and copyright notices can be found under the ⓘ button on the map screen.

Place photos link directly to images from their original sources, and their copyright belongs to each author. Sources are noted beneath the photo on each place's detail screen. Wikimedia Commons photos follow the CC BY-SA license.

If you are a copyright holder and want a photo taken down, contact us below and we will remove it right away.
